Camp WiFi Is a Rumor. Starlink Is Glamping.
Some parks have WiFi. I do not count on it. A hotspot sometimes works. Starlink is the honest paid fix.
Field notes — I write these in first person, from how I actually pack. Photos go in when I have them.
I download first. Always.
Maps offline. Movies offline. Switch games offline. I treat campground WiFi like a rumor that sometimes pays off. A portal login at 1 bar is not a plan for a kid movie night.
Cellular hotspots work in some loops and fail behind a ridge. I check coverage like a grown-up and still assume I am wrong.
Starlink is the real answer and I label it
Hardware plus a monthly plan. Power enough to run it. That is glamping. It solves the problem. Most people should not buy it for two weekends a year.
When Home Depot affiliate is live I will put a link here. Until then I am not pretending I have a cart button.
Quick answers
Will you link Starlink?
Yes, once the Home Depot affiliate program is approved. Until then I will not fake a buy button.
