Helinox vs a Cheap Quad Chair: What I Own and Why
I sit in a cheap quad at car camp. I carry a Helinox when the chair is on my back. I do not mix up those jobs.

Field notes — I write these in first person, from how I actually pack. Photos go in when I have them.
Photo slot — A real trip photo goes here. I will drop a picture in when I have one that is not a stock shot.
Two different chairs
The quad is comfort and a cup holder and it will get destroyed. That is fine. The Helinox is two pounds and a stuff sack. It is a worse nap and a better mile.
I do not buy a Helinox to look serious at a drive-up site. I buy it when I am tired of leaving the chair in the car because it is too bulky to carry to the lake.

Quick answers
Is this a complete packing list?
No. This is what I actually do for this situation. Use a full checklist for the boring essentials, then add or subtract from this note.
