A Whistle and a First Aid Kit I Will Actually Carry

I clip one on each kid if we hike. I do not rely on a phone that is at 4% in a pouch. Three blasts is the story I want them to remember.

The kit stays small so it comes with me
On a day hike it is blister care and a few meds. At camp it is the family pouch. Two kits that stay in the car help no one on the trail.
